Front Nine
Copper Hill Hole #1
Copper Hill Hole #2
Copper Hill Hole #3
Hole #3: Par 5
This par five is reachable in two, but the risk is high. Out of bounds and hazards loom on the left and the green is well guarded by bunkers to the right and a swale to the left. Laying up is often the smarter play, although club selection is key to avoiding the deep bunker 60 yards short of the green.
Copper Hill Hole #4
Copper Hill Hole #5
Copper Hill Hole #6
Hole #6: Par 4
A slight dogleg right, the fairway plays alongside a creek on the right. Fairway woods or hybrids are the smart play from the tee to set up a short iron approach to a green which features a series of subtle ridges making for some of the most difficult putts to read on the course.
Copper Hill Hole #7
Hole #7: Par 4
A truly memorable short par four. The dogleg left around a tree-lined creek presents a classic risk/reward tee shot. Play a hybrid or long iron straight out to the middle of the fairway for a mid-iron approach, or hit a hard draw around the creek to set up a short wedge shot. Either way, the elevated green lies just beyond the creek and a large front bunker.
Copper Hill Hole #8
Copper Hill Hole #9
Hole #9: Par 5
A classic risk/reward par five and a picturesque setting as the fairway plays uphill and back to the clubhouse. On the second shot, the smart play is a layup just beyond the creek that cuts across the fairway around 130 yards in. Going at the green in two is risky with a small green protected by bunkers right and left and a steep bank at the rear.
Back Nine
Copper Hill Hole #10
Hole #10: Par 4
Copper Hill Hole #11
Copper Hill Hole #12
Hole #12: Par 4
The elevated tee on this par four offers two distinct fairway options. The high road is a 240 yard carry from the back tees which rewards a long tee shot with a short iron or wedge from flat fairway lie. Missing the fairway short results in a tough uphill lie from the rough. The low road to the left offers a shorter landing area, but requires an uphill, blind shot to the green.
Copper Hill Hole #13
Hole #13: Par 5
A straight ahead par five requiring an accurate tee shot to avoid out of bounds left and trees to the right. Long hitters can reach the green in two but white stakes loom left and long of the green and shots hit right will catch a bunker or swale that leave a tough shot to a small green that runs away.
Copper Hill Hole #14
Copper Hill Hole #15
Hole #15: Par 5
The longest hole on the course. The tee shot on this par five plays to a wide fairway which bends slightly to the right. The fairway narrows as it runs uphill to the green that is protected by a bunker right and mounds left. Another difficult green to read, putts generally run to the back right.
Copper Hill Hole #16
Hole #16: Par 4
This short par four requires an accurate tee shot to a tree-lined fairway with out of bounds left. The narrow green is well guarded by a bunker left and a drop off to the right. Hitting the green set up an easy par or birdie. Missing it will leave a very difficult up and down.
Copper Hill Hole #17
Copper Hill Hole #18
Hole #18: Par 4
A great finishing hole where matches are won and lost, the longest and most difficult par four on the course. The tee shot demands length and accuracy to set up an approach to a three-tiered green well protected by bunkers left and right. The largest green on the course will present some challenging putts to end the day.
