Golf Associations & Tournaments

Copper Hill Country Club is known for its inclusive friendly atmosphere and banter among members. The professional staff takes pride in offering golf associations and tournaments that are entertaining, diverse and competitive for men, women and senior golf members. These events range from Member Guests and Women’s 9- and 18-hole leagues, to informal Friday night couples’ events.

CHCC also belongs to the Metropolitan Golf Association, the New Jersey State Golf Association, New Jersey PGA, and the Trenton District Golf Association allowing our members several exciting opportunities to compete in tournaments throughout the area.

Women’s Golf

9 Hole Women’s Association

Every Tuesday starting at 8:00 a.m. come join the ladies for 9 holes of golf in a fun and friendly atmosphere. Play a variety of games and formats with optional buy-ins on additional games and contests. Perfect for the lady golfer who wants to play a fun 9 holes and enjoy the camaraderie of other lady golfers.

Tournaments

Season opener, friendly mixers, ABCD Scrambles, Member/Guest, Member/Member, Championships, Cross Country, a closing lunch with awards, and much more.

 

18 Hole Women’s Association

Thursday mornings beginning at 8:00 a.m. come and join the 18-hole group for golf, fun, and a friendly atmosphere. Play a variety of formats with optional buy-ins on additional games and contests. Sign up in the Pro Shop. Perfect for the lady golfer who wants to play 18 holes and have some serious fun. Ladies are also eligible to represent Copper Hill Country Club in the WMET and the Trenton District through the Women’s 18 Hole Association.

Tournaments

ABCD Scrambles, WMGA Team Matches, President’s Cup, Member/Guest, Trenton District events. Senior Trenton District events, Nassau/Better Ball/Scramble, Member/Member, Cross Country, and many more.

Men’s Golf

Men’s Tournament Association (MTA)

All golf members are eligible to sign-up for the MTA. A one-time fee is charged to your account that allows you to access Copper Hill’s biggest tournaments.

Tournaments

Opening and Closing Day, President’s Cup, Flag Day/ July 4th/ Labor Day, Member/Member, Senior Club Champion, Club Championship, Cross Country, and much more.

 

Senior Men’s Association

Available for golfing members ages 55 and up. The Senior Association meet from the first Thursday in April to the last Thursday in September and concludes the season with an awards dinner in October. Tee times start at 10 a.m. every Thursday.

OpenRounds Affiliation

Extending the private golf club experience nationwide, Copper Hill Country Club partners with OpenRounds.

An added benefit of membership at Copper Hill Country Club, golf members have access to a growing network of private golf venues across the country through our affiliation with OpenRounds. When you join Copper Hill Country Club as a golf member, you will be able to register through the club on the OpenRounds website. You will be able to search available golf clubs in the network, review costs and book reservations.

OpenRounds is a platform serving private golf clubs and their members. Since coming to market in 2016 it has provided an access point for golfers belonging to clubs enrolled in the network, allowing these members to seamlessly explore and book golf accommodations at affiliated private clubs. Well established with club officers, golf professionals, PGA Section partners and golf management groups, OpenRounds is highly valued as a means to increase club utilization while deepening member engagement. The company’s platform is based on understanding the unique needs of each golf club and ensuring that member expectations are honored and upheld.
